Mobility in a Sustainable Future

What will mobility look like in a sustainable future and how will we realise that? The aim of the call ‘Mobility in a sustainable future (KIC)’ is to develop new future visions for mobility in a sustainable, future Netherlands. This requires an innovative collaboration between technical and socials sciences, the industry and civic organisations.

The goal of this call is to develop a new coherent unit of ideas, views and concepts (narratives) about mobility, as well as the development of innovative designs of personal mobility systems in a future sustainable Netherlands. In order to realize this, new and broadened frames of thinking are needed. Dealing with the insecurities of present and future innovations demands new narratives and approaches of mobility. At the same time, new narratives and approaches can lead to other expectations, ideas and wishes, which can instigate out-of-the-box innovations. This call is not meant to further expand present technologies and trends.
